Take Off

Introduction   Creating music flows naturally for me, but naming each piece can be a challenge. Sometimes, I even turn to prayer for inspiration.  This time, as I worked on a title, an image of an airplane taking off came to mind. This wasn't just a title; it was also an invitation to let our dreams take flight, even when life gets turbulent. Here’s how I've found inspiration in the most unexpected way. Let Your Dreams Take Flight My deeply-buried dreams are now beginning to come alive. I could see them taking flight. Slowly but surely they're taking flight. It has been a long and battle-weary journey filled with numerous downs and very few ups. But things are finally looking a little brighter - possibly because of my mindset change - and I could see hope as my dreams are gradually taking shape. If you've dreams that you've yet to fulfill, you could still make them a reality. Just believe in yourself and your dreams, and allow your dreams to take flight. The power t...

Let Your Mind Take a Break

Introduction   In our fast-paced world, true rest often takes a backseat. But sometimes the most productive thing we can do is simply to stop, pause, and allow our minds to rest.  By giving ourselves permission to take mental breaks, we invite clarity, calm and a renewed sense of energy.  In this post, we explore why mental rest matters and how brief moments of stillness can make a big difference in our lives. Why Rest ? Rest might seem a waste of time to some people, but it's necessary for one's overall wellbeing. By "rest", I'm not referring to sleep. Rather, I mean doing nothing. Specifically, I mean letting one's mind take a break, as in not doing any kind of thinking.  According to psychologytoday.com , "the practice of not-thinking is restful, calming and restorative". And when life gets overwhelming, it's even more important that we allow our minds to take a break so that we don't suffer from burnout eventually. Why Do You Need to Le...

Hope is Arising!

Introduction I'm excited to share my latest music video, Hope is Arising! It’s a piece created to bring hope and positivity, especially when life feels overwhelming.  In those moments when staying hopeful seems almost impossible, music has the unique power to lift us up and remind us of our inner strength.  This video, featuring an adorable cat, is here to inspire resilience and bring a spark of joy. Whether you're a music lover, a cat lover, or both, I hope this video gives you a reason to keep going and stay strong! Feeling Hopeless? To try feeling hopeful when situations literally look hopeless can be tough. But then if you've the guts to stay in the game of life no matter how hopeless the situations in your life might be, you'll eventually emerge stronger because you'd have built up tough emotional and mental muscles. Fight Song If you're at a point in your life where you need a good dose of hope, you might want to listen to songs that stir up hope or stir ...

Instrumental Music

Introduction In today’s fast-paced world, stress triggers seem to pop up everywhere, making it hard to find a moment of calm. I’ve found that listening to soft, soothing instrumental music is one of the best ways to unwind, especially when life feels overwhelming.  My latest impromptu piece called  Untitled  really helps when it comes to stress relief. Alongside it, I’ve shared a relaxing video of a koala bear that I hope brings you the same sense of peace it brings me.  Let’s explore how instrumental music can be a powerful tool for relieving stress and quieting the mind. Releasing Stress through Music Personally, I prefer to listen to soft and soothing instrumental music when I'm feeling stressed, because such music has the power to soothe my weary soul and relax my tensed-up muscles. According to an article on unr.edu , a slower tempo could quiet...
