Have you ever noticed how certain songs can instantly lift your spirits while others seem to weigh you down? Music is a powerful force that can profoundly affect our emotions and overall moods.

Music Has the Power to Affect Your Mood

If you're already feeling moody, try not to listen to sad music because it might make you feel even worse. Instead, you might want to try listening to soothing music that has a calming effect on you. 

Oppressive Nature of Heavy Metal Music

Heavy metal music, to me, has an oppressive feel to it. That's why I never like such music. But then again, it could be just me. 

Personally, I won't recommend it to anyone who's already feeling oppressed, because listening to such music might make you feel even more oppressed.

Ballads Have a Soothing Element

Ballads can calm me down easily, and that's why they're my favourite type of music.

Rap Has the Power to Energise Me

Rap is something that I enjoy listening to, because it has the power to energise me and give me an emotional boost.
