The Healing Power of Music: A Double-Edged Sword Music has long been celebrated for its ability to evoke emotions and create connections. After diving into The Mozart Effect ,  I became convinced of music's healing power. However, not all music serves this purpose.  In this blog post, we’ll explore the dual nature of music—how it can heal and uplift, as well as how certain genres may not be suitable for those seeking solace. Join me as we delve into the profound impact of sound on our lives and wellbeing. Music Can Heal I believe that certain types of music could heal, for example, music that could bring out deeply-buried emotions, because such music (to me) could provide a cathartic outlet.  Music Can Oppress In my view, heavy metal music sounds oppressive and therefore isn't suitable for people who are dealing with addictions.
