Feel Hopeless?

To try feeling hopeful when situations literally look hopeless can be tough. But then if you've the guts to stay in the game of life no matter how hopeless the situations in your life might be, you'll eventually emerge stronger because you'd have built up tough emotional and mental muscles.

Fight Song

If you're at a point in your life where you need a good dose of hope, you might want to listen to songs that stir up hope or stir up the fighting spirit within you. 

Several years ago, I was at one of the lowest points in my life and I happened to be following a Chinese reality talent show titled Sing! China. It was then that I heard a young girl, Jeryl Lee Pei Ling sing Fight Song. This song kind of stirred up the fighting spirit within me and kept me going, albeit briefly. When you're low on hope, it's important to have a strong fighting spirit that will keep you moving forward. Agree?

Hope is Arising!

Life champions are made in the crucibles of the most painful experiences and the harshest of conditions. If you could overcome the worst hardships and pain, you could overcome anything that life throws at you. 

So, be a champion and keep your hope alive!

Do You Eat Dog Meat?

  Around early 2022, I watched a video of a big dog being forced by a man to go up to a truck. The man was apparently a dog meat trader in a certain part of China. He was using a sharp tool to grip the dog’s neck, which obviously caused it pain and made it fearful as could be seen from its expression. There were other dogs on the truck. It was a sad sight to behold. There were quite a lot of onlookers around. I was shocked that none of them intervened. I knew it could get them into trouble with the dog meat trader if they were to intervene. But if some of them had stepped forward to help the poor dog, it was very likely to be saved. Surely they could buy it or at least call an animal shelter? How could they be so indifferent to the way the dog meat trader handle it? Dogs aren’t poultry.
